Pets traveling to different countries often require multiple testing reports requested by customs. Our team includes a professional veterinarian who will be present to assist and provide consultation when needed. Below are some commonly encountered terms we've compiled based on our experience. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.
Microchip:
Microchips that meet International Standards Organisation (ISO) specifications 11784 or Annex A of 11785 are generally used. Your pets must be implanted with a microchip and the microchip scanned to verify the identity of your pets before any of the vaccinations, tests or treatments required by many countries.
Rabies Vaccination:
Your pets must be vaccinated with an inactivated rabies vaccine or recombinant rabies vaccine. For example:Nobivac、Zeotis、Rabisin®、PUREVAX®...etc.
Routine Vaccinations:
For Dogs : A vaccination that protects against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Para-influenza and Bordetella bronchiseptica...etc.
For Cats: A vaccination that protects against feline calicivirus, feline panleukopenia (enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis...etc.
Rabies Neutralising Antibody Titre Test (RNATT):
A RNATT must be performed to show your pet is adequately protected against rabies.Your veterinarian will draw the blood from your pet and send the sample to the government-approved laboratory. We recommend that you wait three to four weeks after your dog has received its primary vaccination.
External parasites:
External parasite treatment must be effective against fleas and ticks that will cause not only itching but also serious disease to your pet.We recommend that you protect your pet from those parasites regularly.
Internal parasites:
Internal parasite treatment must be effective against nematodes and cestodes.
Veterinary examination before exporting:
A government approved veterinarian or an official government veterinarian must perform a final pre-export clinical examination that makes sure your pets are fit to travel before shipment.
